Impossible Oktoberfest Pie


1/2 lb. fully cooked bratwurst (about 3), cut into 3/4″ pieces
1-1/3 cups drained sauerkraut (from 14 oz .can)
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
3/4 cup Original Bisquick® mix
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup regular or nonalcoholic beer
2 eggs
Heat oven to 400° F. Spray 9″ glass pie plate with cooking spray.

Sprinkle bratwurst, sauerkraut and cheese in pie plate.

In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour into pie plate.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let
stand 5 minutes before serving.

Makes:6 servings.

Per serving =  Calories 300 (Calories from Fat 180), Total Fat 20 g
(Sat Fat 9 g, Trans Fat 1g), Cholesterol 110 mg, Sodium 980 mg,
Total Carbs 15 g (Dietary Fiber 2 g, Sugars 4 g), Protein 14 g.

  3. Yes, actually September 22 (Oktoberfest opening day) is right around the bend (of the elbow)!

    I haven’t attended since 1976. Man…that was a long, long time ago.
